High Temp. Oil Bath

Quick Answer: This High Temperature Oil Bath is used for oxidation stability testing on oil and grease and for calibrating thermocouples and thermometers, heating from ambient temperature up to 250°C with a stability of +-1°C/2°C or better. It has a 304-grade stainless steel (argon-welded) bath to prevent leakage at high temperature, ceramic-blanket mineral insulation to reduce heat loss, Kanthal oil heaters for uniform heat throughout the chamber, a 1/20 HP stirrer for uniform liquid circulation, and a CRC/mild steel powder-coated housing running on single-phase 220/230V AC power.
