The Vapour Absorption Refrigeration Trainer uses an ammonia-water solution, with ammonia as the refrigerant, and operates on thermal energy.
What does the Gas Charging Trainer teach?
It shows how to empty and evacuate a refrigeration unit with a vacuum pump and then charge it with the correct amount of refrigerant. The portable bench unit has a vacuum pump, a filling cylinder and manometers for intake, delivery and cylinder pressure.
What can be investigated on the Computerized Bench Top Cold Storage Trainer?
Its large refrigeration chamber has two evaporators, so the effect of different evaporator sizes on the cold storage room climate and on icing can be investigated. Two adjustable heat sources inside the chamber simulate the cooling load.
