Surveying Lab Equipments Manufacturer, Suppliers and Exporter in India
Educational Lab Equipment India is leading Surveying Lab Equipments Manufacturer, and supplier and Exporter in India
Angles, distances and levels taken during survey practicals are measured with the Surveying Lab Equipments range from Engineering Lab Equipment. The Electronic Theodolite with a 30X telescope and the Prismatic Compass handle angles and line directions, while the Total Station records angle, distance and coordinates and works with the Prism with Pole and Wooden Tripod. Levelling and line work use the Automatic Level (24X), Laser Distance Meter, Range Pole and the Plane Table Set for field drawing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Electronic Theodolite and the Total Station?
The Electronic Theodolite measures angles in the horizontal and vertical planes, with a dual-line LCD display and a 30X telescope with a 45 mm objective. The Total Station measures angle, distance and coordinates, can measure up to 200 metres without a prism, and can be remotely controlled and used with surveying prisms.
What is the Prismatic Compass used for?
The Prismatic Compass determines the direction of survey lines with a magnetic needle, while the length of each line is measured separately with a chain, tape or laser range finder. It takes its name from the prism it incorporates, which is used when taking observations.
What is a Range Pole and how is it marked?
A Range Pole, or ranging rod, is used to mark and sight survey stations and to range straight lines. Traditional rods are light, straight bamboo about 30 mm in diameter and 2 m or 3 m long, painted in alternating bands such as red and white or black and white.
What is the Plane Table Set used for?
The Plane Table Set gives a solid, level surface for making field drawings, charts and maps. The table is set over a point and brought to a horizontal level, a drawing sheet is attached to its surface, and an alidade is used with it.
